Lily Cottage Belford Details
Lily Cottage has one bedroom with a double bed and a smaller
room with two single beds, both rooms are tastefully furnished in pine. There is also a cot and high chair available if required. There is convenient free parking right outside the cottage door. The pubs, grocery store and chip shop are within a few minutes walk.
For your comfort the cottage is no smoking, well behaved pets are very welcome. Children love the picture book cosy charm of Lily Cottage
The cottage is fully central heated at no extra cost and controllable
at your own convenience. The lounge also features a custom built oak fireplace with a log burning stove for which we supply an initial supply of fuel.
Bedding, towels and tea towels are included. There is a Sony CD, clock, ipod dock and hairdryers.
A TV is available, there are also CD & DVD players so bring along your favourite discs and films. A number of Ordinance Survey maps of the district are available for reference as well as some suggestions for walks and books on Northumberland.
We are pleased to supply Wi Fi service at no extra cost, bring along your laptop and you can even access your email in the garden!
There are plenty of eating out opportunities in and around Belford if you wish to totally relax and leave the catering to someone else. As we believe in Lily Cottage being a home from home and like guests to be as comfortable as possible there is an ample supply of toilet tissue and paper tissues, foam bath, tea bags and coffee.
The cottage has a large landscaped, enclosed garden with patio furniture a barbeque and a firepit. The garden is not overlooked so you can enjoy the sun in private and children or pets can play quite safely with no danger from traffic. There is also a Swingball and other games available.
Access Note:
There are two small steps into the front of the cottage, two
steps from the lounge to the kitchen and a small step in the bathroom. There are also steps into the garden. Due to the age of the cottage (1837) the doors are narrower than modern houses, therefore the cottage would be difficult for wheelchair users or anyone with very severe mobility difficulties.
